We got these for Dave Grayson.

(If we can find it in the form of a Polar Bear, we gotsta get it.  Plus these little fellas added about two inches to our boys height.)

Then G’s other winter gear arrived in the mail.

We made him try it on to check out the fit…

A little bulky.  Kind of like the Michelin Man – but colored.

And finally, Grayson wanted to pretend we were actually outside so he sat in his Christmas present sled to make it all feel real.

A minute later we had to take it all off so that he didn’t get heat stroke.

We went pumpkin patchin’ this weekend and got a couple of cute shots that I thought would be nice to share.  Here you go:

Daddy is showing him the goats.  He really has no fear of any animals to date.  I hope that it stays that way.

Getting ready to take our sick-ish babe home.  I think that he had a lot of fun, and it got us out of the house before the winter weather arrives.

p.s.  I wish that I could knit a hat like this one I found for G last year on clearance.  I LOVE that hat.

More building – it seems to be G’s favorite thing to do.  Even when he is sick and can’t hardly breathe.

Turns 1 Today!

Can you believe it?  Neither can we.

For this grand occasion, we thought we would show you this.

We’ve been trying to spend most of our days outside because the good weather is bound to stop sometime.  However, when we are indoors, G’s new favorite thing is to crawl up on the dog bed, roll around, and get very hairy.  His old favorite thing, of course, is to play with my Can-O-Breakfast.

Just because I know you would like to see them, here are some of my recent favorite close-ups.

So, we took that video of Grayson walking on Monday night.  Then on Tuesday when I was here alone, he pretty much stuck to crawling.  Dave got home that evening, and Grayson got up on his own and took about 10 steps without looking back.  I was shocked.  I mean, he could barely take three steps with rings in his hands 24 hours earlier.  Then on Wednesday, once his daddy got home, he walked for 10 feet.  He is picking up the pace quite quickly with this new endeavor.  I am pleasantly surprised.  He actually seems to want to walk over crawling today.
