I’m Two Weeks Old (Last Tuesday)….

…and I weigh 7 pounds and 12 ounces

…and my favorite night activity is to fall asleep on dads chest

…and I don’t care much for diaper changes that involve wipes

…and I really don’t care for baths

…and I like to eat all of the time

…and my umbilical cord fell off (at 17 days old)

…and I like to take walks, as long as I ate first

…and I don’t mind when my big brother gives me tongue baths

…and I still sleep a lot during the day.  In fact, the doctor gave me homework to get my schedule adjusted so that I am up more during the day and not so restless in the early evening.

…and I will sleep for a 5 hour stretch at night, as long as it is ON or NEAR mom or dad.  During the day, I will sleep anywhere- hence the homework.

…and my features are changing daily

…and I am starting to smile in my sleep

…and I have 10 long hairs on the crown of my head

…and my feet and hands are long like daddy’s

…and I scowl in my sleep like mom

…and my flat ear is finally taking shape.  The Doctor said it was probably flat because that is where I laid my head in utero.

…and I open my eyes when I dream

…and I found my thumb- I just don’t quite know how to suck on it yet

…and I like my blue soothie pacifier
